Keeping your GPU drivers up to date is essential for optimal performance, and improved stability. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure your graphics card is running the latest drivers.
Step 1: Open the NVIDIA App

Click the Start Menu or press Win + S on your keyboard.

Type NVIDIA and select the NVIDIA App from the search results (If you do not have the Nvidia App installed you do not have to worry about this).
Step 2: Navigate to the Drivers Tab

Once inside the NVIDIA app, locate the Drivers tab on the left-hand sidebar and click it.

This will display your current driver version and available updates.
Step 3: Check for Updates

In the Drivers tab, click the Check for Update button (This is in the top right corner).

The app will scan NVIDIA’s servers for the latest available driver version.
Step 4: Download and Install the Driver

If an update is available, click the Download button.

Once the download is complete, click Install and follow the on-screen instructions.

Choose Express Installation
- This will take a few minutes and your screen will flash black as it is being installed
Step 5: Restart Your PC
After the installation is complete, restart your computer to apply the changes.
Step 6: Verify the Update

Open the NVIDIA app again and go to the Drivers tab.

Check the driver version to confirm the update was successful.
