How to Add the Energy Plotter to Your Computer

Setting up the New Energy Plotter on your computer is a straightforward process. Follow the steps below to ensure proper installation and configuration.

Step 1: Download the Driver

Before installing the plotter, you need to download the appropriate driver:

• Save the file to an easily accessible location on your computer.

Step 2: Install the Driver

Once the driver is downloaded, proceed with the installation:

1. Locate the downloaded driver file and double-click to run the setup.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 3: Detect and Configure the Plotter

1. During the installation process, the setup should automatically detect the plotter at IP address 192.168.3.70 while connected to the Welty Private Wi-Fi.

2. If the plotter is not automatically detected, manually enter 192.168.3.70 when prompted.

3. Once detected, proceed with the setup and finish the installation.

Step 4: Adjust Printing Preferences

To ensure optimal print quality and formatting, adjust the printing preferences as follows:

1. Open the Printing Preferences for the Energy Plotter.

2. Navigate to the Page Setup tab.

3. Set the page orientation to Landscape.

4. Check the box to rotate 90 degrees.

5. Change the roll size to 36 inches.

Final Steps

Once the setup is complete, test the plotter by printing a sample page to verify that the settings are correct. If any adjustments are needed, revisit the Printing Preferences and modify them accordingly.
